Facility Manager - Residential Aged Care

💰 $150,000–$155,000 package (negotiable) + relocation assistance + temporary accommodation

The Opportunity

As Facility Manager, you’ll take the lead in creating a positive, resident-focused environment. You’ll support your team to deliver high-quality, person-centred care while ensuring the home continues to run smoothly and meet every standard of excellence.

Your day-to-day will include:

  • Leading and inspiring your care and clinical teams

  • Overseeing operations, budgets, and performance outcomes

  • Maintaining compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards, AN-ACC funding, and governance requirements

  • Building strong relationships with residents, families, and the wider community

  • Fostering a culture of teamwork, respect, and continuous improvement

About You 💛

You’re an experienced aged care leader who leads with empathy and purpose. You love supporting your team, making a genuine impact, and setting the tone for a culture where both staff and residents feel valued.

What you’ll bring:

  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (essential)

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in an aged care leadership role (Facility Manager, Care Manager, or equivalent)

  • Demonstrated success in achieving strong occupancy and quality outcomes

  • Expert knowledge of quality, safety, AN-ACC, and accreditation requirements

  • Infection Prevention & Control (IPC) Lead training (highly regarded)

  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and decision-making skills

  • A values-driven approach with a genuine passion for improving the lives of older Australians

Additional Requirements

  • National Police Check

  • Compliance with relevant public health vaccination requirements (e.g. influenza, COVID-19)
